How it started

Black Sheep Software started in early 2026 with a simple aim: build software that actually helps. It began with the things people collect — sneakers, games, books — and is branching out from there. UK based and fully remote-friendly, still shaping exactly how each new kind of project gets delivered.

Chris builds and ships. Black Sheep Software's product line — Nextsole, NextGame, NextChapter, Astera and Clearpath HR — is his own proof of the studio's approach: real software, built end to end and running in production, not sitting in a deck.
